TEFLON (PTFE) Hose Assembly:
TEFLON is a registered trademark of Dupont and is the trade name for Polytetrafluroethylene (PTFE). Teflon Hoses are suitable for almost all chemicals except few like fluorine gas, oxygen difluoride, chlorine trifluoride and boiling alkali metals. PTFA hose assemblies (Smooth Bore) have an excellent vibration absorbance and flexibility at high pressure. Due to non-stick nature of PTFE, media passing through the hose does not stuck up, reducing the risk of bacterial contamination, hence widely used in pharmaceutical and food industry for batch purity.
Size Range: Smooth Bore - 1/4" to 2"
Convoluted - 1/2" to 6"
Telfon Hoses are available with different types of end connections like flanged, screwed, DIN fittings, Tri-clover Fittings. Special types of Teflon Lined End Fittings are also available for special application.
